Do not remove AfD templates

edit

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. ~Matticus TC 08:50, 10 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I did not remove anyone's comments in the Articles for deletion page and I find it rather annoying that you would insinuate such. This appears to be a form response, and it's blatantly obvious that my work was not that of vandalism. I discussed it very specifically in the discussion forum.Idealistic cynic 17:48, 10 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

PSentry

edit

Hey, just wondering if you think the AfD portion of PSentry has run its course yet? Will it remove itself? It seems our discussion was pretty well it on the matter. Thanks again. -- Idealistic cynic 01:05, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

An AfD has to be closed by an administrator, who decides what to do based on the discussions in that AfD, be it delete, keep, move, merge, transwiki or relist for further discussion. ~Matticus TC 07:31, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Ah, thanks for that. How long does it generally take for admin to look into this sort of thing? --Idealistic cynic 07:34, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

WP:CVU status

edit

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you!
