Visual guide on adding a source

Hi! I noticed you added content to Kehinde without providing a reliable source. To ensure that content is accurate, it would be preferable if you could add a citation to a source which confirms this information. If you do not know how to do so, the image on the right should help you in this matter. Cheers, RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 02:42, 25 May 2020 (UTC) RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 02:42, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Good evening. Thank you for your observation. I am a Yorùbá woman, and I do not need to cite anyone’s work. I speak, read, write, teach ,the language and to crown it all I am Ìdòwú, that is the child born after twins. Táíwò or Táyé and Kẹ́hìndé (Twins) Ìdòwú (child M or F) born after twins. Àlàbá child born after Ìdòwú. Ìdògbé, child born after Àlàbá, Ìdòha, child born after Ìdògbé.

Thank you. Idanide (talk) 02:49, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

See the accepted guidelines on the requirement for inclusion - content must be published in a reliable source. This is to ensure that readers interested in the matter can verify it, and also to ensure all information is accurate. Thanks, RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 03:07, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately sir, I do not know what or whose work to site. I am 62 years old and have understood and spoken the language from the time I could understand my parents. I can assure you that there is no where you will take my additions/corrections to, that it will not stand the scrutiny! I write the language with its original accents. That’s a feat most Yorùbá people can’t even do! If because I am unable to site a work my contributions will not be acceptable, so be it. What I KNOW, I know! Pity to deprive users on account of this.
