If you are here to thank me for reverting vandalism on your page and such, know that thanks will be read and appreciated :), but not necessarily responded too.

If you're here to rant at me, the same probably applies.

Speedy reversion edit

5 times in a row pages I was about to revert were reverted by you in .5 seconds before me. Wow... Melune (talk) 23:47, 11 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Heh... Well, I know how irritating that can be sometimes; I am sorry that we had to edit conflict. I use HUGGLE which quickly speeds up reversion of vandalism. I am going to retire for the day in a few minutes so maybe you might get to pump your edit count too :P - Icewedge (talk) 23:54, 11 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

re:dubious change edit

It's vandalism. I Googled it, and Amazon's DVD store has it with just a question mark. Thanks for reverting it! miquonranger03 (talk) 04:47, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

No problem, I assumed the title of the page should be the same as the subject. Icewedge (talk) 04:51, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for quickly reverting the vandalism done to my userpage and talk page. DiverseMentality(Boo!) 07:23, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your welcome, I was glad to do it (I am feeding my editcountitis tonight :)! Icewedge (talk) 07:26, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

As am I. I think warnings are not needed as the user openly admits to sock puppetry. I've already added the current username here: Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/HiNancyHowsTheNight. DiverseMentality(Boo!) 07:38, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ah, yes. You are correct, I think it is a better course of action to report them to AIV as vandalism only accounts though, as that will get acted upon quicker than SSP. Icewedge (talk) 07:44, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Seems to be blocked now, but I'll be on guard with more sock puppets and will report them to AIV for next time. DiverseMentality(Boo!) 07:51, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the revert to my page as well! DoubleBlue (Talk) 22:47, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

revert edit

Yes, I know. Greasemonkey is having problems and censored words (I reverted the censors and then you reverted the edit I made that fixed the problem).

Oh, and for humor qualities:

Oh yes, I see, my mistake. I just saw your addition of the word 'gay' and 'hell' in a half a dozen places and assumed it was vandalism; next time specify an edit summary. IHG (talk) 19:43, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
lol. I was reverting another edit, but didn't notice the content of the page would cause greasemonkey to go on a rampage. Thus having to add all those words back. 24.18.240.159 (talk) 19:49, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

No,you're clogging pages with ASCII pictures. Please stop. Acroterion (talk) 02:26, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I should probably not have labeled your edit as plain vandalism Carrotsandpotatoes, but it is rather disruptive, as Acroterion said. Icewedge (talk) 02:33, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

vandalism reversal edit

Please always check the recent article history when reverting a vandal. Often there are several anon IP vandals, also some well-meaning anons may delete only a piece of previous vandalism since they probably don't know how to check article history. Finally, there are tricky vandals (or wikipedia stress-testers) known which use two accounts: one vandalizes, another writes "rvv" but does not actually completely revert. `'Míkka>t 22:36, 30 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

You have deleted some actual, yet possibly mythical information I posted. I think that users of Wikipedia may be interested by the information I provided. It is helpful to learn about myths and stories related to a topic. If you re-post my contribution it would be greatly appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.240.124.45 (talkcontribs)

No, I won't restore the information because I strongly suspect that it was just made up. For a start 'Tessa' does not seem a particularly Chinese name and I am unable to find any mention of this anywhere else, if you could give a source to verify your information then maybe. Given your past edit history (which includes addition of other very dubious information) I can't say I place a lot of stock in your word. IHG (talk) 03:08, 22 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

To be reverted if you please edit

I don't know if this is how this is supposed to work, but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Best_Christmas_Pageant_Ever has been vandalized. Firenoodle (talk) 22:51, 18 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

It has been undone now, kudos to the reverter Proofreader77 (talk · contribs). In the future if you come across feel free to revert it yourself. This can be done by clicking the tab at the top of a page that says "history" which will bring you to the page revision log. At the page revision log you will see a list of edits which have been done to the page. This is an excerpt from the history of The_Best_Christmas_Pageant_Ever (without links):

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
