Golfing rabbi edit

I don't get the rabbi golfing joke?? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Iansanderson (talkcontribs) June 18, 2006.

He can't admit he was golfing on the Day of Atonement, so he can never boast about his hole-in-one. - Jmabel | Talk 23:55, 28 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Spam in Unique Whips edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Unique Whips, by ExtraDry, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Unique Whips is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Unique Whips, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Unique Whips itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 12:03, 14 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sam & Dave Shadetree Set.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Sam & Dave Shadetree Set.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:55, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Image:Pax.JPG edit

A tag has been placed on Image:Pax.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image with an unknown source or an unknown copyright status which has been tagged as such for more than 7 days, and it still lacks the necessary information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Pax.JPG|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
