AfD Nomination: Turing-test Argument for the Existence of God

edit

I've nominated the article Turing-test Argument for the Existence of God for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Turing-test Argument for the Existence of God satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Turing-test Argument for the Existence of God. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Turing-test Argument for the Existence of God during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion.Dipics 00:17, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unexplained deletion

edit

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Muhammad, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. ~Amatulić (talk) 01:05, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove information from articles. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed even if some believe it to be contentious. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. You also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you. -- Consumed Crustacean (talk) 04:02, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Here is the rationale behind the images in the Mohammad article. Given the significant amount of work put in by numerous editors, this rationale isn't likely to change. In short, the image you have repeatedly removed will remain in the article. The decision behind whether or not you wish to continue editing Wikipedia is entirely up to you. If you continue deleting this image (or others) from the Mohammad article, you will be blocked from editing. If you persist following several blocks, you will be indefinitely blocked from editing. On the other hand, if you wish to contribute constructively, we have some active discussion on the article's talk page. For example, you might wish to help sort out the earliest and most authoritative sources on Mohammad's life available in the English language. It's up to you.
