In response to your question on the now-deleted talk-page of that article, I am indeed a real person, and was alerted to your edits when they popped up on a list of recent changes that met certain criteria for being possibly factually incorrect. DMacks (talk) 08:26, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

To answer your question

A team of human New Page Patrollers checks all new pages within seconds of them being created and we have filters checking content. So there's really no point, is there? See:Professor Farnsworth. Now if you have something genuine to contribute, you're welcome to do so, but another trick like that will cost your your editing licence ;) Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:34, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Noted. I honestly don't do this kind of stuff, but after recently memorizing the elements and seeing the newest episode of Futurama which featured a picture of element 117 named 'Farnsium' I had to check to see if any of the fans had hit the Ununseptium page (like often happens when XKCD does just about anything) and was surprised that no one had done anything yet and I couldn't resist. Sorry for the trouble and taking up your time, and it's nice to know just how fast and effectively Wikipedia is able to respond to something like this. I assure you that I won't do this again.
You're welcome. Now that you know how to edit the Wikipedia, if you would like to add some real content, let me know and we'll see how to get you started in subjects you are familiar with. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 09:48, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
