Babel Old Hebrew

edit

Hello, Hubert, and thanks for your interest in creating a Babel box for what you call Old Hebrew. Are you perhaps referring to Biblical (also known as Classical) Hebrew, as distinguished from Modern Hebrew? If so, this is not a language I've studied, so I wouldn't be a good candidate for providing the translation. I'm also not particularly adept at wrangling Babel boxes; I got help with mine by asking for assistance at the New Contributors Help desk. What I'd suggest is that you post your request (similar or identical to what you wrote on my User talk page) on the Discussion (Talk) page for Biblical Hebrew Language, then a query on the Language Reference Desk pointing to that if you don't get any helpful response in a reasonable amount of time. (Be advised, though, that many speakers of Hebrew are on the threshold of a major holiday and likely to be quite busy in the coming hours and days :-) If the above suggestions are daunting, you're welcome to get back to me and I'll see what I can do to help. -- Cheers, Deborahjay 12:37, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
