We're glad you're here but please review WP:CIVIL... in reviewing your contributions so far I find some edit summaries that I think are not as civil as they could be. [1] and [2] for example are, in my view, not very civil.

Further, I find it interesting that a user as new as yourself happened to comment on a talk page of an obscure battle, and further, that you have a fair knowledge of 3RR... ++Lar: t/c 08:16, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

(refactored) As I told on that page, I was reading around, and just found your comment. As regards fair, I just read about 3RR, and giving my opinion.A question: do you know of a way to get rid of that ugly orange bar that appears everytime I receive a message? --Huatai 09:35, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
No, other than to read the message. So far you've received one message so it can't be that annoying can it? You can reply here, I have this page on watch. ++Lar: t/c 13:25, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
I copyed your monobook.js, and noticed it changes a lot of thing. Since the most annoying thing about the message (I received 2 actually) is that it stays there up until you read it, and stays there in an alarming-orange shade, is it possible to modify monobook.js in order to display the message warning in a more modest way?--Huatai 18:17, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
I'm no expert but maybe a change to the monobook.css would do it for you (to change the appearance, it won't make the notice go away faster I don't think...). Caution, my monobook has dependencies on a lot of other stuff in my userspace, if you just want enhanced func you may be better copying from User:Voice of All's more vanilla enhanced stuff. I hvae stuff in there for DYK, delivering newsletters and all sorts of things, youd also need ../moretabs/monobook.js and ../DYK/monobook.js and my monobook.css for it all to work. Good luck, have fun hacking. Try asking on WP:VP in the technical section too. ++Lar: t/c 18:50, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
