December 2010

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to David Hasselhoff has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Sorry, a mistake. I was unaware about ClueBot's revert. --Hon-3s-T (talk) 21:39, 6 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
Looks like a good faith edit, so I am removing the warning. L Kensington (talkcontribs) 22:03, 6 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Apple Cider Vinegar

edit

The IP's edits made to the article, which you reverted here, are in fact well-explained--and as it happens, while they may seem destructive in their removal of content, that content is pretty tendentious and based on terrible sources. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 17:22, 15 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for explanation - I've been watching the 'recent changes' and reverting the changes only as the IP was not giving any explanation in the edit summary. Hon-3s-T (talk) 17:24, 15 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Russell Crowe article

edit

Hi, I saw that you manually changed vandalism to the article. I thought that this info might be useful to you so here goes. When you have a problem like that and don't have access to the tool rollback, what you can do next time is hit the history tab at the top of the page, than you click the the editor before the vandalism (this is for use when more than one edit is made), than hit compare. After this is done if you right click on the editor to the left, the editor that didn't vandalise, where is says edit, then click old edit. It will revert to that editors contributions. Than put in the subject line reverting vandalism and hit save. It's really quite easy, it just sounds complicating. If I can help out please don't hesitate. Happy editing and happy, healthy holiday, --CrohnieGalTalk 17:48, 21 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Did I edit something you wrote?

edit

Hi,

Did I change something you wrote on the page for Libyan Uprising? If I did, I do apologise profusely, and say that I must have clicked somewhere accidentally (on a laptop). Sorry if I did. =( Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie Say Shalom! 06:48, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

No, it wasn't you, it was Petey Parrot (who is most probably not concerned at all). I'm sorry if I offended you - I should've been more personal in this case.--Hon-3s-T (talk) 06:54, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Lol, I wasn't offended. I just wanted to make sure I didn't offend you. I've having a bit of fun with this guy playing naive and silly. I have a feeling he is going to break WP:NPA soon, if not already (pretty sure he was calling me Kaganovich), but until then, fun entertainment. =p Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie Say Shalom! 07:09, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Papal Election, 2013

edit

Thanks for the correction about Pope Francis I. That's what I get for believing CNN. Mequon Rich (talk) 19:57, 13 March 2013 (UTC)Mequon RichReply

Well - I've made some, perhaps, a bit questionable changes to the article myself, in the heat of the moment. Anyway - I had not meant any offense.--Hon-3s-T (talk) 20:04, 13 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Renault FT

edit

Hello. I note with interest your request for citations in the FT article. As it happens, those points are dealt with in Jeudy's Chars de France, in Ernst-Metzmaier's Quelques Mémoires, and a number of other reputable works which I could dig out if I had the time. Of course, you are entitled to ask for a citation for every word in the article if you so wish. If I were you, though, I should ask for citations to support the assertions in the second half of that paragraph, which are demonstrably entirely wrong. If you read the Talk page section on the FT's idlers, you will find confirmation that they are wrong, but the editor in question cannot seem to absorb the information. Perhaps you could be equally stringent with him. Regards, Hengistmate (talk) 14:21, 17 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

If claims in the article can be referenced, then they should be referenced in the article, especially in case of the Renault FT article which has not enough inline refs - and it applies equally for the claims on the idler wheels, about which I was not aware so far. Thank you for noticing me.--Hon-3s-T (talk) 14:41, 17 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

He's certainly not a pleasant person, but there's little I can do abou it, and moreover, he quickly removed it himself.--Hon-3s-T (talk) 14:41, 10 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
