According to Wikipedia

edit

, this image meets at least two criteria which don't require special license:

ImagesShortcut: WP:NFCI Some copyrighted images may be used on Wikipedia, providing they meet both the legal criteria for fair use, and Wikipedia's own guidelines for non-free content. Copyrighted images that reasonably can be replaced by free/libre images are not suitable for Wikipedia.

Cover art: Cover art from various items, for identification only in the context of critical commentary of that item (not for identification without critical commentary).

Images with iconic status or historical importance: As subjects of commentary.

I strongly support the principles of copyright and absolutely advocate for the rights of any artist or writer or business to maintain ownership of intellectual property. But this situation just doesn't call for needlessly draconian enforcement, and Wikipedia's articles will suffer. Fair use principles easily apply to this non-commercial, academic use, and besides, the original was a) produced by an agency of the federal government, and b) that agency (the only entity I can imagine who has a stake in ownership of that image) was dissolved in 1947.

Thanks for uploading File:Armed Services Edition UnprocessedHuckleberry Finn & Country Lawyer.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
