Direct translation from Spanish edit

Hello, I have been looking at your translation at Cristina Durán Costell. It is interesting, but I have a few comments.

  • Templates also have to be translated. In particular, the reference templates are all broken at the moment.
  • Standards are different on different Wikipedias. Among other things, in English we avoid linking dates and also including punctuation in links. (for example "In 2009, she bought a cat.", not "In 2009, she bought a cat.")
  • The article currently needs a lot more links to other wikipedia articles.

Anyhow, thank you for doing some translation work, but please keep these things in mind for next time. Happy editing! Happy Squirrel (talk) 15:08, 10 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Happysquirrel: It is not like I abandoned this article. I am fully aware of the references problems. It is something that software Wikipedia developers must improve. I also did the translation from Catalan article Víctor Santos (author) which pretty much deals with the same issues. I have already created a dozen articles in Catalan wikipedia and three articles in Spanish wikipedia.
Now I'm working in Catalan articles, so after that I will make myself to these two articles. Meanwhile I can tell you some things so you can translate minor things in the references:
  • Catalan = English
  • títol = title
  • consulta = accessdate
  • gener, febrer, març, abril, maig, juny, juliol, agost, septembre, octubre, novembre, desembre = January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December
  • ref-web = cite-web

Punctuation in links were mistakes and the lack of links was because the tool used did not work properly and I did not have time to do so after the translation. Thanks for the tips. --Hienafant (talk) 16:18, 10 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Jinsha Site edit

Hi! I saw you were interested in the Sanxingdui article. I've been working on a closely related article called the Jinsha site. Would love to see your thoughts on it. I'm working on it for a university course so any feedback and suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks. --Anninarose (talk) 09:37, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
