Speedy deletion nomination of Stoneriver

edit

A tag has been placed on Stoneriver requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Timneu22 · talk 15:58, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Stoneriver

edit

I have nominated Stoneriver, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stoneriver. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. — Timneu22 · talk 16:33, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have made changes, please note. Also, please know that our competitors are on Wikipedia, with less references, less material, and less education. Please read what I have written (talk) 15:40, 26 May 2010 (UTC) Please note my changes. Thank you. (talk) Please note that no products are now mentioned. Thank you. I have made several changes to the text, based on your recomendations. Also based on some comments I have read. Why can I not see my changes when I log off and see the page as a non-user Herosrus (talk) 15:21, 27 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}}

Hi, Herosrus -- I think what's going on is that you have been editing your "user page" at User:Herosrus instead of the Stoneriver article. Does User:Herosrus include the changes that you say you're not seeing? Tim Pierce (talk) 16:03, 27 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I did not realize I had to make changes to the actual page. Moving forward the changes I have made on the User Page, are the changes I need to make on the "actual page: that is currently being viewed? Herosrus (talk) 17:43, 27 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}} The name of the page has changed from StoneRiver to Stoneriver - the "r" becoming lower case. How would I change this? Thank you very much Herosrus (talk)

You have to move it back. You cannot move pages until your account is 4 days old and have made at least ten edits. --Alpha Quadrant (talk) 15:51, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}} I'm looking to add the StoneRiver logo, however, after reading a ton of material it seems that I may have to become an account manger. Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right path? Thank you Herosrus (talk) 12:56, 1 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome! You should be able to just go to: Wikipedia:Upload and press "organisation"! Because the logo will not be copyright free, you will have to fill out a form saying that it will only be used on one page and why it needs to be used. Feel free to ask again if you have problems!
