Sockpuppetry edit

I am henceforth going to launch a sockpuppetry investigation against you for being an account of Seeta Mayya. Be prepared for the trial. You will be expected to answer tough questions, and can face an indefinite IP ban if you are found guilty. ~*~AnkitBhatt~*~ 07:58, 31 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

A newcomer shouldn't be threatened unless clear evidence of sockpuppetry can be demonstrated. Also, the place to report a sockpuppet is WP:SPI, not WP:ANI. Scieberking (talk) 08:41, 31 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Official Notice edit

HereToSaveWiki, you have been officially summoned to a currently on-going discussion taking place at the Administrator's Noticeboard. You are expected to appear in front of the examining administrators and respond to any questions put forth. Any attempt at misbehavior, trolling and non-consensus related content will be viewed extremely seriously and may endanger an on-the-spot ban. Your co-operation is expected fully in this matter; any attempt at resistance and your situation will be viewed with disdain.

You will be expected to respond on the discussion within a day; failure to do so can be viewed in a negative light and you may lose your editing rights. You are expected to defend yourself fully, and no mid-discussion walkouts or tantrums are allowed. Any attempt at such a thing will be dealt with in a very strict manner.

Alternatively, if the charge is groundless, you can simply ignore it. Nobody Ent 11:00, 31 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
I see you have already responded, so this is largely moot. But just to reassure you; this section is inappropriately titled and AnkitBhatt has no right to issue you an "Official notice" with arbitrary timelines and threats of sanctions. I will let them know so on their own talk page. Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 11:38, 31 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Username edit

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, I noticed that your username (HereToSaveWiki) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it might be confusing for other editors. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account to use for editing. Thank you. -- Luk talk 10:36, 31 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Award edit

  Wikipedia Motivation Award
Articles related to Indian cinema desperately need good and knowledgable editors. Please join in improving quality and content in a constructive way! Scieberking (talk) 06:54, 1 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
I hope whatever you do in the future is unbiased and backed up by reliable sources. And I'm sure you'll make a very good wikipedian. Scieberking (talk) 09:50, 1 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Opinion edit

Hello HereToSaveWiki. We would need your opinion here. Thanks. Scieberking (talk) 09:11, 8 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your comments, but I'd also asked you to either support or oppose my suggestion of using a range for Bodyguard worldwide gross. Zubeidaislam claims she's from Pakistan, while Meryam90 says she's from Morocco. Only an WP:SPI can reveal if she's a sock or not. Cheers. Scieberking (talk) 11:45, 10 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

News for you edit

Thought I should let you know X.One SOS 15:31, 13 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

And as if that ain't enough, I just got a tip about another sock used by Ashermadan from Seeta Maaya. You might know the editor, they have been famous in Ra.One and Don 2. :-) Take a look here. X.One SOS 06:46, 14 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ra.One edit

HereToSaveWiki, please try to stay a bit calmer when you're in a dispute with another editor. This really looks like something that could be handled by a calm request on the talk page and some discussion rather than angry shouting in edit summaries. It certainly isn't vandalism, so please don't call it that. Wikipedia has a very specific definition of what is and is not considered vandalism - see WP:VANDALISM, especially the "What is not vandalism". Calling something vandalism when it's not can be considered a personal attack, so you need to be careful about it in the future. Thanks! Ravensfire (talk) 18:28, 13 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please check this and decide yourself who was clam at first place and who was shouting. I am not a Gandhian to stay calm if someone shouts at me. Though I respect you, admins and Wiki policies, I request you to further notice the series of incidents before suggesting or warning someone. Further,as read above, in simple terms, I understand "Adding information without citing reliable sources to glorify/defame an article is Vandalism and that is what the concerned editor has been doing everywhere on Wiki". I am not here to vandalize any article but rather provide a NPOV. Thanks --HereToSaveWiki (talk) 07:26, 14 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
If you didn't notice, I also left a note on their page for the same thing. Ultimately, it's only your own actions you can change. Responding to agression with agression leads to chaos and drama and makes a cooperative editing environment extremely difficult. I've noticed that this area seems to be fairly touchy and can easily escalate into fairly hostile edit wars, so I try to hedge them off when I see one that might blow up. Both sides using strongly worded edit summaries without any talk page discussion is a big warning sign to me. Combine that with a claim of vandalism when it's not and I take notice.
I agree with your comment that something like that needs to be sourced either in the lede or in the body and I couldn't find either looking at that version. Ankitbhatt added a reference for that line yesterday, reusing an existing reference. For future editing disputes, try to stay WP:COOL, take the high road and use the talk page to get things resolved. You end up looking better to others and are more likely to see disputes resolved in a manner you prefer when you focus on the issues and sources, not on the editors. Um... edit

Yes, consensus has been implemented to Enthiran and Bodyguard. For Ra.One, why don't you remove it? The budget is also disputed there. See the peer review and comment, if you like. Regards, Secret of success (talk) 12:57, 20 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Points edit

Some pointers :-

  • First, you are strictly not allowed to tamper with my talk archives. This is not an accusation, but the archives are meant to store pre-discussed discussions. Hence, any new additions must be added to my talk page and NOT to my archives. I understand you may have failed to see the instructions board on my talk page, but I suggest that you post on my talk page and not on my archives.
  • Regarding the Ra.One gross, I am sorry but you have not understood : there is still no consensus for Ra.One as Secret of success is yet to decide his stand on the issue. Meanwhile, it has already been pointed out for Bodyguard and agreed upon, so it is valid to remove the gross figure. Please do not add it back. I welcome you to talk further but you may need to ask a few other editor also, so as to build consensus.

Thanks. ~*~AnkitBhatt~*~ 06:54, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
