Stub articles for historical places

edit

I see you're creating some stub articles for historical places. You may wish to look at other such articles before you continue, and review the Wikipedia style guidelines. Also, when adding a new page, you probably want to search for existing pages that refer to it. This can give you an idea of where to start, but it can also reveal places where a redirect might do just as well as a new page.

Happy editing! -Harmil 03:26, 7 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

War of the Sons of Light Against the Sons of Darkness

This is very fascinating. Could you provide a source? Do you know where I could find a copy, possibly in English? My Hebrew is poor. KI 01:40, 5 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi Heptazane; I'm not sure what you mean by Hawaii Botanical Gardens, perhaps Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden?[1] Thanks, Walter Siegmund (talk) 12:11, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yup. Replaced with link. Thanks. Heptazane 16:36, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Coordinate titles

edit

Hi! I noticed you had asked at Template talk:GeoTemplate/archive004#Parameters for GeoTemplate for a title parameter to be added to coordinate templates so that it could be used on maps. There is now a request for comment on a proposal to add the functionality to {{coord}}. Please voice your opinion about it at Template talk:Coord#Request for Comment. Thanks. --Para 10:53, 19 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

{{Infobox Protected area}}

edit

The addition of name={{{name}}} in {{Infobox Protected area}} is not needed; coord is wrapped in a vcard class, that already defines the name (in a "fn org" statement), which is inherited by the geo microformat embedded in {{coord}}. --Qyd (talk) 20:43, 7 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Actually it is needed. I added an explanation to Template_talk:Infobox_Protected_area#Need_the_name_parameter_in_coord. Heptazane (talk) 00:06, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fraction Fever

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Fraction Fever, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Fraction Fever. Fair use rationale for File:Virtual Earth 3D.png

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Virtual Earth 3D.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. malo (tlk) (cntrbtns) 00:00, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

edit

The article Beacon Hill School, Hong Kong has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
