Hello, thank you for reading my appeal. The first edit I made on my Userpage that said "This is an alt account for multiple accounts" has given me some trouble before. I made that edit before I familiarized myself with the sockpuppetry rules. I was going to have a few accounts so I could edit if I got blocked for whatever reason. I understand that this is not acceptable and will never use those other accounts. The second edit that said "i like them cut g" is an internet meme and the name of one of those other accounts. I am telling you, I am not trying to avoid being blocked with an excuse. This is a shared ip and my sister got on, but only for the 'Theweekendfan101' account. After I confronted her, I learned the 'Sksksksksksksksksksk' one was the same as Theweekendfan101. Quiksandi was the legitamate account I used before I made this one. And I have never heard of Chortalianroyal1 and don't know how my ip is related to it. Just please- unblock me for like a 1 week period and see that I only use this account and that I do not vandalise with it. I'm not sure I follow. NinjaRobotPirate asked: "you need to disclose all the accounts you have used before I consider unblocking you" (emphasis mine). I would say, look at WP:Standard Offer. What Standard offer does not mean is "just wait 6 months and we'll unblock you". Actually read the page.

The best chance I can think of would be to take that six months to edit a sister project productively. Could be the simple english wikipedia, could be another language wikipedia - could be wikiquote, or wikisource, or wiktionary. This is where you can prove that you can function in a collaborative environment. Do not create more sockpuppets here.

After 6 months of contributing positively elsewhere - make an unblock request that explains this, and honestly addresses the reason that you were blocked.

I can't promise an unblock in these circumstances, but this is something I've seen work before.

Request reason:

Last night, when I was going to sleep, I was thinking to myself how much of a mistake I made when I made a few sockpuppet accounts. For months, I have regretted what I did and wished I could return to Wikipedia. I came back to my talk page and read everything on it and decided that I would try to appeal my block. I know that it has not been six months, but I truly believe that I have learned from my mistakes and won't grief any wiki or make any sockpuppet accounts. Over the last (roughly) 4.5 months, I have not made any sockpuppets and make the occaisonal positive edit to the Simple English Wikipedia. If I can be unblocked, I would hope that I can create a new account and start over from there making constructive edits to the Wiki. That would be my sole account from then on, and I will disclose all info about it to anyone who asks so they can prove I don't vandalize anymore. Thank you. Oh, I think I get it. I googled my IP address and then found the contributions for it, and it said that you blocked it in April. You blocked a range of IPs, and I looked at the edits made by that range (75.166.128.0/19) and I did not recognize any of the edits. This could possibly be another user editing within the same IP range? Helpthepeople9 chat? 01:34, 29 June 2021 (UTC)

@Drmies: I took a look, and given the specific technical data, I'm inclined to say that Helpthepeople9 is not related to the reason why you blocked that range. I ran a few other checks, but I wasn't able to find conclusive evidence of any block evasion by this user in the last 3 months. At this time, I have no views on whether the unblock request should be accepted or declined—in any case, since I handled the previous unblock request, I'll defer the actual decision to another admin. I don't really care that much if someone unblocks you, but I think you'd probably be happier posting trollish comments on Reddit or something. I haven't looked at the CU data, but if you guys are talking about 75.166.128.0/19, that's someone who's gone to college (see Special:Diff/1016751205: "her essay presupposes its existence and presents it as pure conjecture"). • The checkuser policy says "Administrators must not undo nor loosen any block that is specifically called a "CheckUser block" without first consulting a CheckUser or the Arbitration Committee". Well, the checkuser who placed the block has said "I don't really care that much if someone unblocks you", and two other checkusers have commented here, and not indicated that they have any objections to unblocking, one of them explicitly saying "I have no views on whether the unblock request should be accepted or declined". I reckon that's enough consultation of checkusers for me to make a decision on this, and my decision is to give the editor another chance. JBW (talk) 09:55, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
