Please dont ignore the fact that he is not a flight engineer/mission specialist so he IS a space participant only. I'm not xenophobic too because I myself is malaysian and i am ashamed that my country is wasting so much money on such useless projects

  • So you are biased because you have an agenda. Hektor 09:42, 13 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
    • What agenda do I have? If you declare him as an qualified mission specialist, what proves do you have? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Roychai (talkcontribs) 10:10, 13 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
      • Your agenda is that you want to put down this mission as much as you can because you disagree with it. All your statements are inspired by this bias. And the proof I have is that there have been MANY flight of foreign astronauts using the very same scheme used by Malaysia (from UK, Austria, Slovakia, France, etc.) and that never, ever anybody has called that space tourism.   Thanks for uploading Image:368 box 348x490.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Re Clara Morgane edit

Yes, I actually got the photo from her agent. However, I am afraid it may be deleted - the statement I got for the photo was "Veuillez trouver ci-joint un visuel libre de droit de Clara". However, OTRS has asked me to get an explicit GFDL license for the photo. I sent the French version of the license again but have not heard back yet. If I don't hear something soon, perhaps I may forward the e-mail to you to see if you will have any better luck. Videmus Omnia Talk 12:24, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Heya, I realize that was confusing this morning, but I reverted your song stuff on STS-120, because today is Day 5, and the song played for the crew was Bellissime Stelle by Andrea Bocelli.[1] The song you heard (and put in as day 6) was a song Clay played from ISS, for the ISS MCC, to announce the DPC, dedicating the day to the Harmony Module. I completely understand the confusion, as when I heard it, I too wondered "What the heck, two morning songs?" lol. Anyway, I hope you don't mind!   ArielGold 07:53, 27 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

That will not say my username in an easy to see, notable place. To get a featured status article on the first page is ou of my hands. I will be going offline for an hour or two, in the meantime do not touch my userpage. Kaeso Dio 18:59, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Kaeso Dio, it is inappropriate for you to place that template on your userpage. This is not MySpace, and Wikipedia is not here so your "name will be seen by many people", as you stated above. Please review the guideline regarding the placement of this template at the categories page, which states: "Users should not add their user pages to article namespace categories such as Category:People or other subcategories, Category:Biologists etc, which are reserved for pages in the article namespace. " Hektor is correct, you may not have that template on your userpage, and I suggest that you remove it. Thanks, ArielGold 19:06, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Heya Hektor! edit

Noticed this edit and this one, and I was wondering where you got that information from? The official Manifest still lists no date, and still shows it under review, and no results for a launch date, even tentative, result from searching NASA's site. Can you let me know where you got that info so I can put it as a ref? Thanks! ArielGold 05:55, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I got it from the FAWG Shuttle Manifest - dated Nov 29. Hektor (talk) 05:58, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I saw that too, unfortunately, that is not released to the public, and is available only to NASA employees, or L2 members, and as Chris Bergin specifically states: "We've had a couple of instances of L2 members moving information from here, and supplying other sites. This is not allowed for the obvious reason that it affects the value of this section. Don't do it, as we have to protect this area for the L2 members as a whole. " So, unfortunately, while it may be accurate, it isn't something we can use here, both to respect Chris Bergin, but also because it can't be verified by sources. Trust me, I know the frustration, I'm also a member of L2 so I see the same documents, and it is hard to not want to put the info up, but we have to wait until NASA announces it :( I'll hide the dates in "hide" comments until they are public, so they won't really have to be added back, and can just be unhidden. Is that okay with you? ArielGold 06:05, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tintin edit

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that the notability guidelines for future films stipulates that stand-alone articles for films should only exist when shooting begins. This is due to the wide array of factors that can halt production -- budget issues, casting issues, scripting issues, etc. You can develop the content at the redirected location and revive the article when production does begin. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 18:54, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • What do you mean by "shooting begins" for a 3D animation movie ? It is well known that a 20 minute test reel has already been produced by the Weta Digital guys. That was largely reported in the news, for instance in Variety. So when does "shooting begins" ? Hektor (talk) 19:22, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Considering that Spielberg is busy with Indy 4 and Peter Jackson with The Lovely Bones, I'd imagine that active production would take place after these films are ready for release. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 19:43, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well maybe you're right. However, an equivalent article in French has made it to the main page of the French language wikipedia... that's what I call different standards... ! Hektor (talk) 14:35, 13 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
It really is different standards. I don't know how they reviewed the article, but considering that it's an article about a yet-to-be-made film, the content would be unstable. Star Trek (film) was nominated to be a Good Article back in January 2007, but it didn't achieve the status on the basis that the content would significantly change in the near future. You can see its format and content today, and I'm a bit surprised that an article that is obviously incomplete wound up on the main page of the French Wikipedia. I'm not a huge fan of nominating a film article as a Good Article shortly after a film's release, even though it's happened sometimes, because an editor advised me that a true encyclopedic film article would also cover themes, intended and unintended. I'm doing the intended themes at Fight Club (film) and trying to do the unintended themes (academic interpretations) on a subpage. So yeah, different standards. :) —Erik (talkcontrib) - 15:47, 13 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Lady Libertine edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Lady Libertine, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Lady Libertine. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Long good friday DVD.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Long good friday DVD.jpg.
