June 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Samf4u. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Paul Kuhr— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Samf4u (talk) 16:20, 10 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

March 2019 edit

Your recent editing history at Paul Kuhr shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

Second notice edit

After this I'll be forced to notify the admin board. // Gargaj (talk) 14:55, 30 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Third notice edit

Hi Heavy Metal Archives, it appears that you are still engaging in an edit war after Gargaj gave you a warning in March. If you don't agree with my edits, that's fine, but please use the talk page to resolve the content dispute. 9H48F (talk) 15:37, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Julu 2019: Wikipedia isn't all-encompassing edit

H, Heavy Metal Archives. Wikipedia has an article you maybe should look at. Encyclopedias are not repositories of all knowledge about a subject, just the important stuff. They are for everyone, not just the superfans.--Quisqualis (talk) 19:16, 21 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'd add to that - read reliable sources. Primary sources (like court dockets) and self-published sources (like Instagram accounts) are not on. Stick to what you can find in reliable published, independent secondary sources - that's all Wikipedia wants. Fans can find the other stuff on fanzines and websites - this is an encyclopedia.
