Commercial use of Image:Kevin strom contract.jpg

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Kevin strom contract.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Kevin strom contract.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Kevin strom contract.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 19:34, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Pom.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Pom.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Coredesat 02:39, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image:Bbadscreenshot.jpg

edit

I have tagged Image:Bbadscreenshot.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. BBAD.com

edit

If you've got reliable published sources (independent of the website itself) about those issues, go on and post links to them on my user talk page, and I can take a look at them when I get the chance. If it looks like they'd help the website meet the WP:WEB guideline, I'll restore the article; otherwise, you'll have to go to WP:DRV. --Coredesat 05:48, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not add unreferenced or inadequately referenced controversial biographical information concerning living persons to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Image:Kevin strom contract.jpg. Thank you. John254 15:11, 8 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppetry case

edit

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Hatewatcher for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. SLSB talk ER 14:59, 21 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Blimey, I didn't know we ran a court of law. I suggest you wait for the Checkuser results and in the meantime assume good faith. There are far more productive things you could be doing here than arguing with another user over whether he's a sockpuppet or not. If the checkuser comes up positive, an admin will deal with it. --kingboyk 21:42, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh??

edit

We are sure you are a sockpuppet? You claim you are not Itzwiki then who are you other than Hatewatcher? SLSB talk ER 18:45, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

You are sure of nothing. You are making stupid accusations based on trivial and utterly incorrect evidence. Let's SOLVE this by looking at the IP addresses. The odds of Itzwiki and I being in the same geographic location are minimal. Let's see where he is, and where I am, and that will prove my innocence. You should stop making these asinine and groundless accusations. HateWatcher 05:33, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ok lets say you are not Itzwiki. You have nothing to hide then right? If you have nothing to hide lets keep this case open. I am not closing because of something a suspect says. Thanks. SLSB talk ER 17:36, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Absolutely not. You have presented ZERO evidence, and in fact your case is simply wrong. I will be requesting a speedy closure of this absurd and asinine false accusation. HateWatcher 22:36, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, If I am wrong. I will apoligize. But you say you are not a sock. If you are not: surely you wouldn't mind the checkuser to run until its done? SLSB talk ER 01:20, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Evidence: Itzwiki (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) is an abusive sockpuppet of Hatewatcher (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) being used to upload Image:Contract 0081.jpg, an image which constitutes unreferenced negative information concerning a living person, in violation of WP:BLP, and which is identical to Image:Kevin strom contract.jpg, uploaded by Hatewatcher, which was speedily deleted pursuant to CSD G10. Itzwiki has also placed the WP:BLP violating image in Kevin Alfred Strom (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) just as Hatewatcher did. John254 15:41, 21 July 2007 (UTC) Report submitted by SLSB. Fixed by John. SLSB talk ER 15:06, 22 July 2007 (UTC) SLSB talk ER 03:12, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
This is evidence of nothing except the fact that some other user uploaded the same image I did after the one I uploaded got deleted. I did not do so. Again, it is extremely unlikely that whoever did it is in the same geographic location as I am -- let the IPs be known. I have no access to them, but surely some admin does. As far as the checkuser goes, I do now know what that is. I am not particularly active at Wikipedia yet. HateWatcher 08:44, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Checkuser checks the IPs and who edits on a certain IP. SLSB talk ER 15:03, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I have tagged your user page here. SLSB talk ER 16:02, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I have started a checkuser case here. SLSB talk ER 17:17, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Now I feel stupid, I'm sorry we accused you. The check came out negitive. Again sorry. SLSB talk ER 02:01, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Prussian Blue (duo)

edit

An editor has nominated Prussian Blue (duo), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prussian Blue (duo) (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 01:59, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:ElishaStrom.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:ElishaStrom.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
