It's your book? Pity it's in German. Sorry to be fussy, but I see no publisher, city or year. Are you the sole author of the book (it appears so as expressed). Is it a review of the literature? And I do find it odd that the first comma is not a colon "In the eyes of the reader: ....."—that would be normal in English.

Are you a psychologist researcher?

I started this article, but know it only from a lit review in my doctoral dissertation, which was on eye movement in music reading. I find this article now to be seriously undercited. For example, the images. TONY (talk) 12:09, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I am a psychologist researcher, and have done some of the earliest research on eye movements in problem solving. You find an abstract of it under http://www.learning-systems.ch/multimedia/forsch1e.htm and my curriculum under http://www.learning-systems.ch/multimedia/curr_e.htm
