Taxonomy templates

Hi, just to note that when you set up templates like Template:Taxonomy/Dendrobieae, the rank must be latinized, e.g. "ordo" not "order", "familia" not "family", "tribus" not "tribe". Some parts of the system may appear to work ok with English-named ranks, but others don't. Peter coxhead (talk) 10:39, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

Um... The rank "alliance" is currently not recognized in the automated taxobox system, so would cause some problems if anyone tried to use such a taxobox (e.g. {{Automatic taxobox}}) at, say, Trichoglottis. Whether it's worth adding this rank to the system isn't clear to me. Peter coxhead (talk) 11:42, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
