Please don't create lots of new Wikipedia articles based on mildly interesting/amusing web sources. Try uncyclopedia, or spend a bit longer here editing and seeing how things work. Thanks. Rd232 talk 15:27, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Not NOT NOT what I am doing... These are all article for genuine objects or occurances Hammer Buddy (talk) 15:28, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- Even if they are, which I doubt (killer sloth?), start by adding the topic to the most relevant page (or discussing on its talk page) and see if people agree that it is stuff which should be in Wikipedia. OK? Rd232 talk 15:31, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- You've got the right idea providing sources for your articles, but an encyclopedia article needs to be more than just a sentence or two - read the guide to writing Your First Article and the Guide to writing better articles for some ideas. WP:STUB has some ideas on the minimum size for a useful article. Also, you need to see whether there is already an article on the subject - for instance, your "Killer Sloth" is already covered at Megatherium. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 15:33, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Thank you john and I have added information about it being a carnivore to the megatherium page - it is also nice to have some kindly words here... why would rd232 doubt a sloth! Hammer Buddy (talk) 15:39, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
