Dear HaleyAthol:

I received your e-mail; however I would rather that you contact me by leaving a message on my talk page at User talk:Anne Delong. I am in the middle of chairing a major genealogical conference, and I'd like to keep Wikipedia mail separate from conference mail.

I am afraid that the only way to get credit for original research would be to write it up and get it published somewhere with an editor. Newspaper clippings are great, as long as you can say the name and date of the newspaper they came from. Scans are not necessary.

Have you tried Google? I typed in Hattie Nestel protestor and immediately found an online news article at http://www.rutlandherald.com/article/20090929/NEWS04/909290330/1003/NEWS02
