Turanians are mentioned in Sassanid records long before Turks appeared, Iran and Aniran. In addition to that Ferdowsi's Shahnameh which is a compilation of Iranian legendary stories from times of early inhabitants of Iran 4000 years (Marlik civilazation,... to Parthians and Sassanids) clearly states Turanian as Iranian nomadic tribes, native inhabitants of Central Asia. License tagging for Image:Mov11212.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Mov11212.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:08, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Turanian Army edit

The article Turanian Army has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 05:43, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of ISKORPiTX edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on ISKORPiTX, by Smylere Snape (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because ISKORPiTX seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting ISKORPiTX, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 20:49, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: edit

Young Turks were involved in the Armenian Genocide therefore it is necessary to include a template. --Vonones 01:05, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I respect you also and I am looking at it from a neutral view. My mothers family was from Azerbaijan enclaves until they were deported, my fathers side is from Kars until they were deported. My family has never killed a Turk; my grandfathers family was forced to move and some of there relatives were killed according to him. Those pictures have sources attached to them; Armin T. Wegner was a witness of the deportation and massacres of Armenians he has his own collection and that is why I do not dispute those. Of course the Greeks, Armenians and Kurds massacred Turks and so did the Turks on Armenians, but the Turkish massacre of Armenians were more larger and obviously considered a 'genocide'. Anyway if you know people who say Armenians killed Turks, so do Armenians who have elders say the same thing that Turks killed Armenians. You also make it sound like Armenians are the devils that we killed everyone in Turkey which is wrong. There was approximately 1-2 million Armenians in Turkey only before 1920 and today there is barely 50,000. --Vonones 01:19, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes but there were two lands of Armenia, 1. Ottoman Armenia | 2. Russian Armenia both had millions of populations the Ottomans massacred the Ottoman Armenians not the Russian Armenians. --Vonones 01:33, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Also Turks have massacred others see: Massacres during the Greek Revolution, Hamidian massacres, Adana massacre, Batak massacre, Assyrian Genocide, Armenian Genocide, Pontic Greek Genocide, Massacres in Harput District, Chios massacre these are all cited by historians; and most are reliable saying they never did a massacre is absurd. --Vonones 01:43, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yeah... there were bombs and that could have burned them and I do not even know the source of those images. Anyway that is a different subject you are switching to. Also that is not a total lie why do you say everything is a lie if Turks killed them? but if it was a Greek or Armenian it is not a lie? are you a historian? really its kind of obvious you are not neutral on the subject. --Vonones 01:59, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
You added Azeri Genocide to Hrant Dink which has nothing to do with him that is common sense. --Vonones 02:13, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
I agree that Armenians massacred Turks but not at the extent the Ottoman Empire did. --Vonones 00:00, 22 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

reply edit

Sorry about disappearing there. Anyway, it doesn't seem to be that big a deal of it only being mentioned in the article. I might be wrong though, since I don't understand the conflict, other than the fact that it's been a large one on here. You can point i tout on the talk page, but it's nearly time for that section to be updated, so it will be removed shortly anyway. Just to point out, I'm not the one that chooses the articles that go on the main page. Wizardman 02:06, 22 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Huns. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. --Vonones 02:43, 24 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

about 3RR edit

user Vonones who is in a pure anti-turkic personality attack the "turkic history" pages of wikipedia, (see the Huns page), he is an armenian user and hate all the turkish people(he always edit with no written source). he uses 3RR rule throug to his nationalist and racist ideals. how can i stop him? thanks.--hakozen 03:05, 24 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well... I have no clue how you can use the 3RR to do what you say he's doing. I am editing the article because the information that you are deleting is referenced and the truth. ROOB323 23:56, 25 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's obvious you're only here to push your nationalist POV into our encyclopedia. Any language Wikipedia is not the place to continue to fight idiotic internet wars over real life historical conflicts. If you want to edit constructively, then request that you be unblocked and give us a damn good reason why we should let you edit despite your hundred Turkish messages to editors to assist you in whatever nonsense you want to bring onto our website.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:04, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

He mentions that Armenians on wiki have gone too far with vandalisms, and asks for being organized against them, and repulse those attacks using the listed methods. A block might be in place, I am not sure about an indef block. If being a POV pusher is enough reason for indef block, I will keep that in mind. DenizTC 06:31, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
