Hello, Gustave London, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You may also want to complete the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit the Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! It isn't necessary, or good style, to add the wikilinks Apollo and Soyuz to the page Apollo-Soyuz Test Project, since these are obviously related to the topic and are already Wikilinked in the article text. The relevant section of our style manual is MOS:SEEALSO. JustinTime55 (talk) 18:02, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Categorising categories

edit

Hello. Whilst it's great that you've been creating some needed categories, it's really important that you add categories to them in turn so that they can be found within the category hierarchy by humans and maintenance bots. So for instance with something like Category:1904 establishments in the Portuguese Empire you can pretty much clone what you need from Category:1905 establishments in the Portuguese Empire. Also looking at potential parent categories will help you decide if something like Category:English-language singers of Japanese should be created at all (it is meaningless and duplicates the well-established Category:English-language singers from Japan Cheers 86.8.200.242 (talk) 13:27, 13 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
