Thanks for uploading Image:Ponzo.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. External links edit

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in House (TV series). Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links as long as the content abides by our policies and guidelines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. --Yamla 18:49, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

You said: "TV Squad is no more commercial of a website than several other links listed in the 'External links' section of the [[House {TV Series)]] page. TV Squad provides detailed reviews of every episode of House, so I truly believe this to be a service to fans of the show. I'll bring it up in the Talk page for House."

I don't think TV Squad is a website run by you (or otherwise directly associated with you). If it is, however, then you must not add any links to it to the Wikipedia regardless of any other rationale. See WP:SPAM and WP:NOT. Assuming it isn't, though, then you should read WP:EL for guidelines. Wikipedia generally does not want external links (again, see WP:NOT) but in very rare cases, an external link may be acceptable. In my opinion, TV Squad is not sufficiently valuable to merit an exception to this but I am not the only person you need to convince. Add a note about this link to the talk page for House and if the consensus is that it would be a valuable addition, I will fully support your addition of the link to that article. --Yamla 14:59, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Tv-squad-logo.gif) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Tv-squad-logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:11, 16 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

October 2010 edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. Please note that you have already had warnings in the past about spamming links to the "TV Squad" site, yet you are still spamming links - this time to the TVS successor site "Cliqueclack". It is clear that there is some connection between you and the site, and as such you must stop as you are in a conflict of interest. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Ckatzchatspy 19:44, 28 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Understood. I left a comment on the Talk page. This was not at all meant as spam, merely to further cite something already there. Gudlyf (talk) 20:24, 28 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
