Hi, I was reviewing the images you uploaded of Jonathan the dog and I saw that you noted that the images were in the public domain because they were published prior to 1924. I looked into this and found that all of the images of the various Jonathans were taken starting in the 30s and onwards. This means that they cannot be uploaded to Commons unless they're very explicitly marked with a copyright that puts them into the public domain or under a compatible Creative Commons license. As such, the images will have to be deleted unless I can find proof that they're in the public domain. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:34, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Looks like it's a non-commercial CC license, so it can't be used. It's an honest mistake. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:29, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
