Prussian academy of sciences! edit

Vielen Dank! This is great. I know enough German to read the de wiki but it's just fantastic that there are people like you willing ot do these translations. Cheers. Pascal.Tesson 16:54, 12 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have announced your translation at Portal:Germany/New articles and Portal:Germany/New article announcements, subpages of the Germany portal. If you write more Germany-related translations, please announce them there. Happy editing, Kusma (討論) 15:25, 13 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Another suggestion edit

I guess I should be thankful for whatever translations you choose to do but given how quickly and how well you did the job on the Prussian Academy, I can't resist asking you to consider translating de:Mephisto (Roman) to Mephisto (novel) (or at least a part of it). Few books have an interesting story beyond their subject. Of course that's if you feel like it! Thanks for your work. Pascal.Tesson 17:23, 12 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

well that was quick! Thanks a lot. I did a bit of copyediting and it's now a very decent article and I'm hopeful that people who have read it or know more about it will eventually help in completing it. By the way, I noticed on you user page that you're from Baden Würtemberg. Where from? I spent a year and a half as a post-doc in Tübingen and know BW quite well. DYK edit

On 13 October, 2006, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Prussian Academy of Sciences, which you created. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Image:Natalie Portman Leon.jpg edit

Hello Greenb, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Natalie Portman Leon.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Greenb. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 01:47, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:Runaway1.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Runaway1.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MBisanz talk 21:45, 2 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of DLR Smartfish edit

The article DLR Smartfish has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This topic does not meet WP:GNG and, since it never flew, also fails WP:NAIR

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
