I put the information in the article you made onto your userpage, since as the article was written it didn't meet the guidelines for biographies. Thanks, Mak (talk) 02:55, 18 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

The article Ashburton Grove, The Castle, Saint Peter, Barbados has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

An unreferenced article about a single property, with no indication that it is notable. Would be an A7 Speedy delete if that extended to articles about places. Single pieces of property are rarely notable, although ther are of course exceptions.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DES (talk) 15:28, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Greetings Gq,

It might help towards saving the article if you would:

  1. explain whether "Castle" and "The Castle" are the same or distinct places
  2. plot it/them and Ashburton Grove on Wikimapia, where Castle as currently depicted does seem very small.
  3. provide references to a text or guide book that verify the facts that you wrote in the article (there are none on the web).

Stained glass

edit

I have just deleted the addition to the stained glass page, because I can't find any picture at all, online, to the glass of All saint's Church. I have just done a thorough check. I can't find any info. You say it's among the finest glass in the Western Hemisphere, but that needs to be supported by a really reliable reference, ie. someone who writes about stained glass, not just someone who has written the history of that church. To be right up the top there, it needs to hold its own with the great designers like le Farge, Tiffany, and all the imports by Mayer of Munich and Hardman of Birmingham. If you can find a reference and upload some pics to the church's page, then it's included. Amandajm (talk) 06:59, 6 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Pets Transportation Inc

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pets Transportation Inc requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. /\ talk← Aviyal →Policy) /\ 19:16, 31 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:PETRUCK.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 20:01, 31 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
