Hello, Gooniesareus,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Paul's bench should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paul's bench .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Paul's bench

edit

Would you please provide some evidence that Paul's bench is not simply vandalism or a bad attempt at a hoax? Are there any published sources that support that this subject is even remotely notable? - MrX 15:39, 24 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Look at the talk page and see the hoax... You got caught. If you write a hoax or vandalize Wikipedia otherwise, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.--Müdigkeit (talk) 15:49, 24 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Can I firstly say that this is not a hoax, I agree that I poorly worded the article but I think I have edited it to a better and true statement. This is a memorial bench for a local young lad who sadly passed away. I thought it would be nice for his family that cannot visit the bench to see this. It is very popular in Inverclyde and well known to all locals. Please ask on any Inverclyde forum (Greencok or Port Glasgow) if the bench is a local namesake and I am sure you will get lots of replies. It is as well known in Inverclyde as Rabbie Burns resting place is in Ayrshire. Please do not delete this as a mark of respect> I will get more fitting pictures to add and get more information on the date etc of the bench. Thank you Craig

Hi, is there an appeal process that I can action as I can assure you this is not a joke, I am talking about a persons memorial here and there is nothing funny about that.
