Article

edit

Hey! I really liked your article! I thought it was really nicely written and interesting to read about.

As for improvements, I would say:

1. First I would add more references. I think that you seem to have a few really reliable sources that you can get information from but it might be useful to have a few more.

2. Second, I would expand on the different influences that affected this region. I figure that you are going to go more into depth but I just figure that it's worth mentioning.

3. Finally, I would think that there is much more on slavery and how it affected this area. I'm wondering if there's enough to make that it's own section. Maybe there's not but I think it's worth expanding the topic more.

Really nice work! I look forward to reading the finished product.

Peer Review

This was a well thought out article and written very well. The article also provided a good deal of interesting information about the area, and is spread out well to cover a number of topics.

My first suggestion would also be to add more references, they will help to fill out the article well with a variety of information.

Secondly, I would suggest providing a section discussing the archaeology of the region, such as when archaeology began, by whom, and what sorts of artifacts were found. I know you talk about the sites, but if there was a more specific section talking about the archaeology that might be helpful to readers.

And finally, I think it would be helpful if there was a map showing the area itself and/or maps showing the locations of the sites that you describe in the article.

Article feedback

edit

You've made an excellent start on your article Archaeology of Banda District (Ghana). I wanted to give you some feedback on some aspects. Your article should begin with a summary of the entire article which clearly establishes the topic of discussion, with the article title in bold text. Only the first letter of each header should be capitalized, except for the case of proper nouns which are always capitalized, such as the names of people or the titles of books. Also, consider adding some relevant images to the article. You can use images from Wikimedia Commons or find images to upload yourself following the steps at the Finding images tutorial. See our module Contributing Images and Media Files for more information on how to properly find and use images on Wikipedia. Please let me know if you have any questions.
