Unreferenced template

Hi Getcrunk, I thought we are supposed to put the template in the "References" section [1]. Have a nice day. 199.111.230.195 22:47, 27 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Naughty Girl/Check On It

There's no Dangerously In Love 2 single!! The only single released after Naughty Girl is Check On It. 200.138.194.254 11:40, 4 March 2006

But why is it considered as a single? There's no video for Dangerously In Love 2.

200.138.194.254 12:39, 4 March 2006

I understood it now, thanks! I'd just like to know: what does exactly airplay mean?

200.138.194.254 12:49, 4 March 2006

I got it! Hey, you should create a Dangerously In Love 2 article. What do you think about it?

Source for ASAP

Hello,

I'm fairly new to this so am not sure if this is the best way to contact you. I can provide you with 2 sources for ASAP that are available on the Burning Vision website:

1. http://www.burningvision.digitalresolve.co.uk/show.html This is the companies showreel and contains footage of Beyonce from the ASAP show.

2. http://www.burningvision.digitalresolve.co.uk/title.html The main title sequence from the show is presented here as the second clip.

The show in it's entirety cannot be put on the website due to copywright legalities.

Best Regards,

Internet Explorer - good article

Isn't Internet Explorer listed as a good article? Why removed you {{good article}} from the page? --Off! 04:53, 10 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hmm

I don't really understand why my page was not allowed

WP:AFD

Hey. Thanks for your contributions to WP:AFD. I've noticed that you've voted speedy delete for a number of articles recently. I invite you to read WP:CSD for an overview of what valid reasons for speedy deletion are. While WP:CSD can be stretched, it only stretches so far. When voting on topics that aren't clearly speedy deletion candidates, a simple delete might be best.

One example of this is Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Great_Outdoor_Fight. There's no speedy deletion criterion that clearly encompasses webcomics. Perhaps there should be, though :)

Thanks again for contributing to Articles for Deletion, and for working to keep Wikipedia tidy. Happy editing!

WikiProject Musical Artists

WikiProject Musical Artists has officially been started at WikiPedia:WikiProject Musical Artists. Thanks for the input to the pre-project, I hope you'll continue to be interested and participate in the project. bmearns, KSC(talk) 18:58, 24 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Musical Artist Wikiproject renamed

The project has been moved to WikiPedia:WikiProject Musicians (or shortcut WP:MUSICIAN). I wasn't sure if you're watch list was automatically updated for the move, so I just wanted to let you know. B.Mearns*, KSC 21:14, 30 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Little John

I want to apologize about that lil john article. I heard on tv that some guy named Littlejohn killed a girl. I thought it was little john the rapper but it was actually just some guy named Daryl Littlejohn (real name) who killed her. Here's a link [2] | A Clown in the Dark 02:33, 31 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: Fly Like a Bird, So Lonely, Say Somethin'

Thanks, I wasn't expecting that. :) About Fly Like a Bird, piped links to "years in music" articles ([[2006 in music|2006]]) should be avoided per WP:MUSIC, as they are misleading. Also, dates that include the day of the month, the month and the year should be linked to so that users' date preferences can work. Thanks! Extraordinary Machine 18:37, 1 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image Tagging of Image:Dead.jpg

This image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia and it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page. This is for the purpose of ensuring the definitude of the copyright notice.

If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then simply note this as such, and provide an applicable copyright tag to the same.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.

If you have any questions, please let me know! — pd_THOR | =/\= | 18:00, 2 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not Billboard

It's not a Billboard thing. It's a well organized company who looks at tons of websites. The only reason they have to use freewebs is because they don't have a accesible way to make a website from other places. Also, all the other charts aren't billboard either. Casnada isn't Australia isn't, and UK isn't. They have their own charts. Why can't kids? Huh? r u some adult who doesn't treat kids like they're supposed to. Adults and kids r equal. Tcatron565

What?

I have no clue what ur talking abot. What is ur show? Tcatron565

Wikipedia_talk:Censorship

A watered-down version of the proposed policy against censorship is now open for voting. Will you kindly review the policy and make your opinions known? Thank you very much. Loom91 13:02, 5 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

???

I don't know. Hopefully, after me putting links to it on Wikipedia it will get bigger. And actually, my boss told me we will start putting a counter on it so we can see how many people see it. Please, it takes time. I'm sure Billboard started small too. Tcatron565 6:17pm cst 4/06/06

Version 1.0 "Release Version Qualifying"

Hi, I'm interested in your feedback on Wikipedia talk:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Release Version Qualifying. It's essentially an idea to use a process similar to WP:FAC to identify and handle articles and lists that would go in a release version. Maurreen 19:47, 8 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Online Social Networking Correction?!

Why did you delete valid and factually correct contributions to Wikipedia's social networking history </ref>http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Social_network&diff=47482429&oldid=47473316</ref> and list of social networking sites </ref>http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_social_networking_websites&diff=47482437&oldid=47478990</ref> which were documented with third party facts? Launched in 1995, Classmates.com was the first social networking website, not SixDegrees.com. When I added this fact I kindly left in the reference to SixDegrees being founded in 1997. Industry experts, including the esteemed Esther Dyson of Release 1.0 have featured Classmates.com in published reports on Online Social Networking </ref>http://www.release1-0.com/release1/abstracts.php?Counter=7592224</ref> where she notes Classmates.com was founded in 1995 and that it has more than 40 million members. I'm glad to provide you or others with a copy of the report or other national media coverage to verify this. I appreciate you revisiting this, taking a look at the facts and being open to correct this improper deletion of historic fact. I look forward to your reply. JohnUpp 19:49, 8 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

WP 1.0

I thought since you are interested in this project you might be interested to see a CD version of en now exists see Wikipedia:Wikipedia-CD/Download & 2006 WP CD Selection. Improper Deletion on List of Social Networking Websites?!!

Why did you again delete the valid additions of Classmates.com, StayFriends.de and StayFriends.se from the List of Social Networking Websites </ref>http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_social_networking_websites&diff=47632416&oldid=47603812</ref> when they are legitimate leading social networking sites that are well supported by third party facts, including published industry reports from esteemed technology expert Esther Dyson [PC Forum founder, publisher of Release 1.0 and an ececutive of CNET </ref>http://www.release1-0.com/release1/abstracts.php?Counter=7592224</ref>] plus accredited national media in the U.S., Canada, Germany and Sweden, footnoted and meet the criteria of Wikipedia?! I would be glad to discuss this with you, answer any questions you have and provide additional third party documentation - if you would give us the courtsey of responding to efforts to communicate with you about this issue, instead of continuing to make improper deletions from valid and documented Wikipedia entries which is a disservice to all of us. If you continue to make inappropriate changes to valid and documented Wikipedia entries I will escilate this to the highest levels until it is fairly resolved. JohnUpp 18:40, 9 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for Social Network and Social Networks List Clarification

I appreciate your replies to my questions. I will add the page and additional notes ASAP. Thank you.

What's up with your changes?

Why are you deleting relevant information (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_social_networking_websites&diff=next&oldid=48029001)from Classmates.com on the list of social networking websites? This site covers more than "school friends". It also covers millions of college, work and military affiliations, so this is noteworthy info for anyone who is looking for friends from those places. Will you agree to leave this in or do I need to escalate this? JohnUpp 23:18, 11 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
