Notability of T.F.

edit

A tag has been placed on T.F. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kingpin13 (talk) 11:51, 7 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Per the notice you received above, a tag had been placed on T.F. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please note that after review, I have declined the deletion request so you do not need to worry about this article being speedily deleted, and there is no longer any need to place the template {{hangon}} in the article. Please note that speedy deletion is only one of three deletion processes on Wikipedia; my decline does not prevent users from invoking the separate, longer term deletion methods of proposed deletion or bringing the article to articles for deletion. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Fabrictramp | talk to me 18:51, 7 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

WIND Card

edit

A tag has been placed on WIND Card, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of WIND Card and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. MuffledThud (talk) 08:34, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of T.F.

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article T.F., suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable foundation, can find no information online verifying its existence let alone its size, single failed reference given

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Edinho

edit

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles, as you did at Arnaldo Edi Lopes da Silva. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- --NothingButAGoodNothing (talk) 19:05, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • Also in Edinho, i see you inserted AEK ATHENS profile. Ok, i accept his height is 185 m, i will not change that again. But AEK profile, it says he was born in 1982, and you write 1983. Also, AEK profile is not complete in teams, ZEROZERO.pt link is complete, he played for ALMADA. The totals in AEK profile are for all competitions, but infoboxes only want league games and goals (for example, with BRAGA, he played six games and no goals, not 17/3). Also, before he was sold to AEK, Edinho was loaned, don't remove that in infobox. Leave everything as it is, please, or it will be reported.

Thank you, Vasco Amaral, Portugal - --NothingButAGoodNothing (talk) 19:14, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been asked to add accurate edit summaries as to the reasons for your changes to articles, and you should also be giving information that verifies these changes. Please do not again add material without providing an accurate edit summary - as such action disrupts other editors at this project.--VS talk 22:05, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Olympic football

edit

Hello GEORGIOS, VASCO here again,

I don't know where you got that information, but EDINHO, G.ALVES and MANDUCA never played Olympic football. I don't know who changed the squad templates, but it's not correct.

Please do not insert it again, Vasco, Portugal - --NothingButAGoodNothing (talk) 23:08, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
