June 2013Edit

Hello, I'm Thomas.W. I noticed that you recently removed some content from NSV machine gun without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Don't remove "Citation needed" tags unless you provide proper references for the tagged part of the article. Thomas.W (talk) 09:00, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

  • Because Mongolia has got T-72 tanks. T-72's secondary armament is NSV!!! General1962 (talk) 09:10, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
Then find a proper reference that supports it. Everything you add must be supported by reliable sources. Thomas.W (talk) 09:45, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

S-125 Neva/PechoraEdit

Please do not add Russia as "Origin" in the infobox. Origin refers to the country where it was designed, not where it has been built. And since it predates the dissolution of the Soviet Union its origin should be listed as the Soviet Union, and not Russia. Thomas.W (talk) 09:45, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Armed Forces of the Republic of KazakhstanEdit

Thanks for your edits to this article. Unfortunately, I've just had to remove the mention of T-80s as there was no source; please add a good source and then that can be left there. IISS MilBal does *not* list them, so the source has to be reasonably good - not some fanboy website or forum. Thanks and kind regards Buckshot06 (talk) 18:04, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

• In my opinion : 1st: In 2010 Kazakhstanian ground force has got 980 T-72 tanks. Now only 300 T-72 tanks??? Where that 680 T-72 has gone??? 2nd: I'dont believe that Kazakhstanian Air force - Vip Transport. Because there is no sources??? General1962 (talk) 17:31, 11 June 2013 (MN)

Probably the first report of 980 T-72s was wrong. Kazakhstan as well as the other former SCA states have huge equipment parks left over from the fSU; they may have rotated equipment in or out of those parks, as well as IISS getting better data. Buckshot06 (talk) 00:04, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

Hello - I was hoping you may be able to help me translate a few words of Mongolian. I'm looking at the election results for the 2009 presidential elections in Mongolia and there are around 1,700 "mystery" votes. On the Electoral Commission website, these are listed in two columns as "Тэмдэглээгүй" and "Бүх нэр дарсан". I understand from a rough translator machine that the second may be write-ins, but any confirmation would be great. Thanks! Number 57 10:08, 26 June 2013 (UTC)

• "Тэмдэглээгүй" means "Not Listed" ,"Бүх нэр дарсан" means "All of names are suppressed or reduced" General1962 (talk) 15:15, 28 June 2013 (MN)

Much appreciated - thanks! Number 57 09:06, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

ESEAP Conference 2018Edit

Hello AgZawHein,

I’m Irvin from PhilWiki Community, a member of the Communication Committee of the ESEAP Conference. ESEAP Conference 2018 is a regional conference for Wikimedia communities throughout the ESEAP region: ESEAP stands for East, Southeast Asia, and Pacific. Taking place in Bali, Indonesia on 5–6 May 2018, this is the first regional conference for these Wikimedia communities.

East and Southeast Asia and the Pacific are the most under-represented regions within the Wikimedia community. There is a significant number of Wikimedia contributors in our regions, yet we continue to struggle in establishing a well-managed community. This conference will bring participants from various ESEAP communities together in order to better understand the issues and to look for solutions. It also aims to connect people of the Wikimedia movement within ESEAP regions, to share ideas, and to build regional collaborations that are impossible to achieve through online communication.

We’ve got a lot of participation from several countries, but we’re lacking from your country. As we need more participants from your country, we believe that your contribution and participation would be a valuable asset to the success of this event. If you would like to participate in the conference, please do fill the form as soon as possible (by April 5, 2018) and we’ll inform you if you get selected for the conference.

Thank you and we hope to see you soon. --Filipinayzd 16:38, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
