Hello, Ganesh591, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Ganesh992 (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who use multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. IgnorantArmies (talk) 11:45, 21 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Chesnaught555. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to All Cricket Statistics— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Ches (talk) 17:53, 22 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Test Cricket Records

edit

If you want to test or experiment, please do so in a "sandbox". May I suggest user:Ganesh591/Test Cricket Records? You can click the red link and start typing or copy your code from Test Cricket Records. You may want to add a link to your user page: user:Ganesh591 linking to that page. Just add [[user:Ganesh591/Test Cricket Records]] to your user page. (Leave off the nowiki stuff). Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:52, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sheffield Shield 2015-16

edit

Hi there, I have noticed that on the recent edits you have made on the Sheffield Shield page, you have been putting down the Stumps updates in another format. eg. Day2:-Stumps-  South Australia lead by 151 runs. You don't need to do this, you can just put Stumps, Day 2. Thanks, TheLabRats (talk) 07:55, 26 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have again put New South Wales need 83 runs, there is no need for this edit. TheLabRats (talk) 22:35, 27 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015–16 Momentum One Day Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Newlands. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

2015–16 Sunfoil Series

edit

Hi. For the Round 6 match, why do you keep putting the score for the Dolphins in the wrong place? They batted first, so their score goes first. This is standard for scorecards, regardless of who the home team is. Thanks. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 17:55, 5 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2015–16 Sunfoil Series. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Do you understand what is being posted here? Please reply to confirm. Thanks. Your edits

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia, and particularly to cricket articles such as 2016 County Championship and 2015–16 Momentum One Day Cup. However, I've noticed a few issues which I would like to try and address:

  1. It appears English may not be your first language- some of the content on 2015–16 Momentum One Day Cup made no sense, for example "Lions won the toss and options to field" and "Rain come today."
  2. The "time=" parameter of a scorecard is for the time the match started, not what match number it is
  3. You've been asked before by @Lugnuts:: the team that bats first is always listed first, no exceptions. Please stick to this rule.
  4. Most of the content of 2016 County Championship was just a copy of 2015 County Championship- this isn't helpful, because not only is it incorrect for this season, it's also technically a copyright violation, as it wasn't properly attributed to the former article.
  5. If you have problems, please ask for help- if it's about cricket articles, I'd recommend WT:CRIC. A user that wants to contribute and sometimes makes mistakes or needs help is a lot better than one who thinks they're always right and doesn't listen to advice. Final warning

edit

For the last time, the results column is for the result of the match, not for a match number you just made up. I've reverted your additions to 2016 County Championship because the match numbers dint even exist in reliable sources, and the fixture list was completely unsourced. Please pay attention to the above advice - if you ignore it again, then I'm going to have to report you to WP:ANI as a non-collaborative editor. I spent 2 hours yesterday cleaning up your mess in articles, please follow the standard Wikipedia conventions. Joseph2302 (talk) 07:23, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for vandalism. While some of the problems with editing looked like lack of understanding of what you are doing, edits such as this this and this can scarcely be seen as anything other than deliberate vandalism, and this edit where you not only vandalised an article but also gave a totally misleading edit summary, add further evidence of your lack of good faith. Also, such unambiguous vandalism edits are likely to reduce other editors' willingness to attribute your other disruptive edits to mistakes, rather than malice, which may mean that if you continue in the same way after this block expires, you may be given much less benefit of the doubt than you have in the past. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 12:50, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

I see that, rather than following the instructions on how to request to be unblocked which I gave you in the block notice, you simply tried to evade the block by using another account. If you are blocked, that means that you do not have permission to edit: it does not mean that you are free to edit provided you use a different account. This account has now been blocked indefinitely, and the account you used to evade the block has been blocked for a week. Any request for an unblock should be made on the talk page of your original account. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 13:45, 9 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Serves you right! No wonder I can't get any sense from your edit of the 2016 County Championship article. Thanks JamesBWatson! You're just awesome! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.142.219.235 (talk) 19:01, 12 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
