Fiat do Brasil edit

Dear Gabriel

I hope you are still wiki-active.

I have been helping with the translation into English of wiki entries on the company FNM. The FNM business ended up as part of Fiat, as you probably know better than I do. So I tried to find out more about Fiat in Brazil.

There is very little in English wiki, tho I found in Italian or Portuguese wiki that they started out at Betim in 1976. I wonder if that is right. I think Fiat is now one of the largest auto makers in Brazil. I wonder if as someone who knows a bit about the subject, and who almost certainly understands Portuguese better than I do, you might consider starting an English language entry of Fiat do Brasil. (I see Volkswagen do Brasil already has an entry, though till now there is not too much written there...)

If you did, thank you for thinking about it. Better, if you did, thank you for being inspired to start the entry...

Saluta... Sorry, I do not know that word either. Regards Charles01 (talk) 16:28, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

My network is located in a college campus dormitory in France, and the dormitory attended by many people from countries like Tunisia or China, where their networks have issues with foreign connectity and some students share proxies with their fellows in their countries of origin to allow them to access internet from a proxy in France, which is a country with less restrictions upon content. Probably this was detected by Wikipedia and the entire IP range of the dormitory was blocked, so I request that my username has unrestricted access even if from a suspected proxy (I don't do this to edit Wikipedia though).

Accept reason:

IPBE granted. See below. TNXMan 17:13, 27 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

IP block exempt edit

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. TNXMan 17:13, 27 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Acer Iconia A500.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Acer Iconia A500.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 16:55, 20 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
