Hello, Fxbfxb, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Warsaw Security Forum, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. Speedy deletion nomination of Warsaw Security Forum

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Warsaw Security Forum requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. AI-generated text

edit

Hello, I'm Drm310. An edit that you recently made to Talk:Warsaw Security Forum seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or another application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:41, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Dear Drm310, I only used AI to translate the German version of my article to ensure a linguistically and grammatically correct article as a non-native speaker. I am happy to revise the article again. However, I have also provided the sources for each paragraph and the content is correct. I also used an AI to summarize the reasons for the value of my article, as I was still at work but wanted to prevent my article from being deleted at short notice. If you had spent even 10 minutes on the topic, the discussion about relevance would not have been necessary in the first place. I would be very grateful if you would take this time. You can find initial clues at: https://warsawsecurityforum.org. Suggestions for improvement are of course always welcome! Fxbfxb (talk) 16:56, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Fxbfxb: Are you employed by either the Warsaw Security Forum, or the Casimir Pulaski Foundation? I ask only because your work so far on both English and German Wikipedias has concentrated on these two organizations. If the answer is yes, that is OK, but that information must be disclosed (see Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure). --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 22:40, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

July 2024

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Casimir Pulaski Foundation, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Bbb23 (talk) 18:27, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please excuse the misunderstanding. I have revised the page according to the aspects mentioned. You are welcome to tell me any other points that I have overlooked. Fxbfxb (talk) 18:30, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Question 1) Why do you keep deleting the Link of "Poland" in the Infobox to the Wiki Page of Poland
Question 2) Why do you keep deleting the Part about the Knight of Freedom Award? It is a central part of the foundation's work.
with best regards fxbfxb Fxbfxb (talk) 18:45, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm reverting you because you keep removing the advertisement maintenance template. The article was egregiously promotional. I edited it to trim some of it but it would have been a lot more work to make it neutral, which is why I put in the template. Poland doesn't need to be linked - see WP:OLINK. As for the Knight of Freedom, it was already mentioned in the article; it didn't need a separate section. I did just now fix the wikilinks. When I edited the article, I changed things slightly in those areas and didn't realize I left off some brackets.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:55, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
The removal of the advertisement maintenance template was not intentional. I have revised further parts of the text. Please tell me which parts are not neutral enough or are formulated without evidence. The link is not a word in a continuous text but is part of the info box. I therefore think the link makes sense. It is handled similarly in most Wikipedia articles. It is an important part of the foundation's work and one of the few Polish international awards with relevance. I therefore think it is important to explain it in more detail, just like the publications or the Security Forum. To accommodate this, I have already shortened the paragraph considerably. Fxbfxb (talk) 19:06, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
After my brief research, I have to admit that linking in infoboxes is probably handled differently in English Wikipedia than in German Wikipedia. However, the meaning behind this is not clear to me. Fxbfxb (talk) 19:15, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to remove maintenance templates without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Casimir Pulaski Foundation, you may be blocked from editing. Bbb23 (talk) 18:41, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

It was not my intention to remove the maintenance templates, but merely to reset your unnecessary removal of relevant content from the article. I have also already revised the text. Please tell me which parts of the text are not neutral enough or have been formulated without evidence. I would be happy to work constructively with you on this article if you would respond to my questions. Fxbfxb (talk) 18:53, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have responded to your questions, more than I usually do. The only thing that you could do to improve the article at this point is to remove more of it. As I said, it's a puff piece and you're making it worse. If you have more questions about how to edit Wikipedia responsibly and in compliance with our policies and guidelines, ask them at the WP:Teahouse. If, on the other hand, you continue to disrupt the article or in any other way disrupt Wikipedia, you risk being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:40, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I shortened the text even further. The Knight of Freedom Award is now its own point again, but is no longer mentioned in the summary in order to prevent it from being listed multiple times. I have also added relevant sources. Especially to back up the awards. Fxbfxb (talk) 21:14, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
