Speedy deletion of Image:Revs Sculpture In Brooklyn.jpg

A tag has been placed on Image:Revs Sculpture In Brooklyn.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Sorry, that was a bit of a mixup on my part - the photograph itself is sourced fine and all that, since you indeed took it and licensed it (I apparently removed that for some reason somewhere along the way - oops). Unfortunately there's also still the issue of the object that photograph is of - the thing may or may not be copyrighted because of that as well, and if it is, then it would need a permission from that guy, too. Whatever the case, the discussion seems to be on Magog's talkpage for now, in case you happen to know anything, or just care to take a gander, or whatnot. — Isarra (talk) 04:43, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

I wouldn't begin to know how to get Revs permission. If it needs to be deleted, fine; I stupidly omitted the bottom half of the sculpture and it's thus not something I'm particularly proud of. -- Frank Lynch (talk) 19:58, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
