Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Kristen Bell, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Nabudis Shadow (talk) 10:54, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The article consists entirely of plot summary and doesn't establish notability. Per WP:NOT#PLOT and WP:N, the character should not have an article until these policies and guidelines are satisfied. – sgeureka tc 11:01, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

List of fictional supercouples: See also section

edit

Hey ForgottenStranger! I re-removed the As the World Turns couple articles from the See also section of the List of fictional supercouples. A discussion has been going on, on the talk page of the article about whether that section belongs or not. Though that really hasn't been resolved yet, one thing that was agreed upon was that articles that only lead to plot summary should not be included because the article does not establish the couple as popular and/or notable. To improve this article you might want to look into WP:FICT and see other supercouple and notable couple articles as examples, such as Bianca Montgomery and Maggie Stone, JR Chandler and Babe Carey, and Patrick Drake and Robin Scorpio. Sourcing

edit

Hello, ForgottenStranger. I reverted this, because it does not count as a reliable source and is somewhat a copy of an old version of this Wikipedia article. Flyer22 (talk) 17:42, 25 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Two years later, and you still added a couple with an unreliable source that I had to revert. Familiarize yourself with the reliable sources guideline linked above. Flyer22 (talk) 23:40, 20 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for how you've been helping out with that list these days, such as with this edit. Concerning current problems and plans regarding that list, see this section at Livelikemusic's talk page. Flyer22 (talk) 18:22, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not plagarize information from other websites, that is not professional and it is illegal. Also, we do not cite Kryptonsites "scooper" reports. They are not considered reliable sources of information, no matter how accurate they are.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 16:38, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

How am I doing that? I simply put a short summary in the boxes of the last two episodes. Shouldn't the box of "Stiletto" be empty then as well?

You copied text from another site and put it on here, that's plagarism when you don't put quotes around what you are copying. A proper paraphrase will change more than a couple of words in a long quote. "Stiletto" has a source, the official MSN description. Which is a news organization, and not a fansite like Kryptonsite.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 17:49, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:40, 12 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speculation/rumors

edit

Please do not add unsourced speculation or rumors to wikipedia articles as you did to Austin Peck. Such edits are considered vandalism and will result in your being blocked from editing. Wikipedia takes deragatory remarks about living persons VERY seriously and will NOT tolerate abuse of this kind. You have been warned. Rm994 (talk) 23:15, 17 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not the place for rumors. It only about verifiability. Per WP:V, fan sites are not considered reliable sources. If I came across as harsh, it was not my intent. I just wanted you to know how serious this is. Austin Peck is a married man, and such "rumors" could damage his reputation/career, and even so gossip and rumors have no place on this site. It it just taken very seriously, that's all. I apologize if I seemed harsh with you. It's not personal, it's just a very serious topic. Thank you for your time. Terri Conn and Austin Peck articles

edit

I've gone ahead and reverted your additions to the above referenced articles. Please note, we do not add content based on Twitter entries. If you can provide a reliable source for the content, please feel free to add a comment to the article. That said, do not revise the lead sentence or infobox indicating this change in name. We reserve this content for the name by which the subject is commonly referred. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Best regards, Cind.amuse 03:57, 4 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Jackson Avery. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. TRLIJC19 (talk) 14:48, 16 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Riley Ward

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Riley Ward requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Hi. When you recently edited List of Spartacus (TV series) characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page German (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of breakout characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Christopher Pike. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
