RFA edit

Hi Firio, if you are interested in becoming an admin I suggest you read Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship and have a look at some of the successful and unsuccessful RFAs.

But a word of caution, don't jump in too soon - it can be rough, don't run until you are as well qualified as some of the recent successes. ϢereSpielChequers 21:28, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

okay, thanks.Firio (talk) 21:30, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

However there are many other areas of the Wiki you can get involved in right now. After 18 months I'm still finding new interests here. Whatever subject you are interested in there is likely to be a project on it, or you can get involved in vandal fighting, new page patrol or reviewing articles. Stuff you can do edit

As well as doing adminny-stuff, cleaning up pages and writing Good Articles and even Featured Articles are very good things to have credited to you. I notice you like this band Disturbed, and the band page looks pretty good, but (for instance) David Draiman has a tag on it saying it needs more references (see how the inline ones are done?), while Dan Donegan has none at all, so if you can find some it would be great. I mentioned these as you may have some magazines or books on the band. Anyway, any questions there are lots of us to ask. Cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 03:11, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

PS: DYK is where you can get your very own wiki=graffiti on the front page :) Cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 03:12, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi Firio, I just moved down my list of people looking for coaching/a review. You really don't have enough edits to perform a review on right now and are no where close to being ready for admin coaching. You might want to look into adoption. Gain experience... find a niche... help build the project, then apply. Over eagerness to get the bit can often be seen as a negative.---Balloonman PoppaBalloon 18:53, 23 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
