Thanks for uploading File:Filipinayzd tarp1.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. License tagging for File:Filipinayzd Bcltarpaulin.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Filipinayzd Bcltarpaulin.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:07, 9 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Jose Jason Chancoco edit

A tag has been placed on Jose Jason Chancoco requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. File source problem with File:BclParticipation NationalBookWeek2008.JPG edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:BclParticipation NationalBookWeek2008.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:52, 25 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ZooFari 16:52, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Licensing tags edit

If you are the author of the image, apply a free license such as {{GFDL}} (allow non-commercial use), {{PD-self}} (release all rights to the public domain), {{cc-by-3.0}} (release rights as long as you are credited). There are more licenses here. ZooFari 17:35, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Good, you applied some tags. You can use both creative commons and GFDL, but you can't use public domain at the same time. Either you use only public domain or just GFDL and creative commons. Make sense? ZooFari 17:40, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
This discourages me on CONTRIBUTING photos taken by me. Kindly tag them for me. I am not particular with this. Thanks. --Filipinayzd (talk) 17:46, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
This is actually easy in the process of uploading photos. When you are using the upload form, there is a bunch of license tags you can choose from with a click of a button. Don't get discouraged, just keep that in mind the next time you upload. Do you want all your images public domain or GFDL/Creative Commons? ZooFari 17:51, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I don't have an idea about the terms. And I don't have the luxury of time doing this tagging etc. This should be admins job. --Filipinayzd (talk) 17:55, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
The licensing can only be chosen by you. If you want the files deleted, let me know. Otherwise, please apply a license tag. To make it simple, you can use {{PD-self}}. That license will release all rights and it will be free for anyone to use. Or, you can use {{cc-by-3.0}}, which allows anyone to edit your image as long as they give you credit. Those two are the simple tags you can choose from. ZooFari 18:01, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
