Hello, I'm Discospinster. I noticed that in this edit to Myopia, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ... discospinster talk 01:25, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Orange Mike | Talk 01:31, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hi, I would not be editing this wiki if my eyesight wasn't indeed improving. If anyone want's to dispute this claim then we can have a discussion about it. And I dont think I should be banned for my comment on the bates method talk page as I hadn't made any edits and I just wanted to show my opinion on the matter and talk it out with someone before making an edit. Decline reason:

You seem to be here to promote this method; as such, the block is correct, and I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 01:42, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

That's what I see needs to be changed right now on Wikipedia. I can stand the bates method being listed as inneffective, but it says palming = putting pressure on the eyes which leads to glaucoma, palming isnt about putting pressure on the eyes. So call the method ineffective if you like, but applying pressure isnt a part of it. Palming is about covering the eyes to stop light from entering, without touching the eyes or applying pressure. Also I have no actuall interest in promoting the method and I cant even do so for alturism, even if you unblock me, I cant change the topic paragraph which says the method is inneffective. And I am 100% okay with that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FamousPlan101 (talkcontribs)

So by your own admission, your purpose here is to Right Great Wrongs by providing us with The Truth™ about the Famous Plan. --Orange Mike | Talk 02:23, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Ok I never knew that something had to be accepted by the mainstream to be edited here but putting pressure on the eyes isnt a part of the method. I never said it was effective so I am not "RightingGreatWrongs" just telling you that isnt what DR. Bates's followers do. Also FamousPlan is just my chess.com username, it isnt a reference to the Bates Method... Anyways can I still get unblocked so I can add stuff about Ice hockey and Sabaton? Still keep me permanently topic banned from eyesight related stuff if you think im here to advertise an "ineffective" eyesight improvement method :D
