Proposed deletion of (sic) (magazine)

The article (sic) (magazine) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Official website is a Wordpress blog. Apparently this publication does not even have an ISSN, let alone that it is indexed in any selective database. No independent sources. Does not meet WP:NJournals (insofar applicable to a literary magazine) or WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Category:Dan Quayle?

Saw that you established this category, to which an editor has recently added Murphy Brown. I was trying to figure out whether MB really belonged in this category, but my efforts were frustrated by the fact that the category doesn't have any explanatory text. As the creator of this category, could you please add some text explaining the intended use of the category, or at least let me know how it's intended to be used? Thanks! @Doniago: hi there. Yes, I created the Category:Dan Quayle some time ago, it is devoted to the former Vice President of the US. Maybe someone added the article Murphy Brown due to the fact that "The program was well known for stories inspired by current events and its political satire. It achieved a high level of cultural notoriety in the 1992 presidential campaign when Dan Quayle mentioned the show in a campaign speech" (as you can read in the article). You name it... Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! In this case it somewhat became a moot point, as the editor in question was an IP who was subsequently blocked, so I erred on the side of "delete unless someone else wants to re-add". I almost feel a navbox might be more appropriate than a category in this case, but I don't want to step on your toes either. I guess I'm just not clear on what the criteria for inclusion in this category is supposed to be. "Articles where Dan Quayle is significantly mentioned" is a little vague for my comfort levels. Hope that all makes sense! DonIago (talk) 15:04, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
@Doniago: just leave this in peace, don't worry. Regards, --Fadesga (talk) 15:27, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
