I'm editing an article on Sam Pancake

My first change I want to make to the article is to add a photo. I found a good source photo in the Getty Images database, where I could insert another photo from the same event, as the original photo is gated by a license. The caption to the photo could be "Pancake at the 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' Premiere, 2016".

The second change I would like to make is adding to the summary (main) section of the article. Adding Pancake's achievements and his most notable work will improve the section and helps the people in getting a broad idea on Pancake.

I think the "Personal Life" section on the article is poorly written. I will look for more sources on his personal life to add to that, plus making the section look more professional and similar to other popular Wikipedia articles.

Finally, I would like to improve the sources on the article as a whole. His education and the movies he's in, for example, are not backed up by visible sources. Will look into sources to add/remove/change what's necessary in the article.

What do you think of those proposed changes? How can I improve on them?

Adding a photo is a great idea. When I first read Sam Pancake's name I did not know who he was, but I did recognize him once I googled a photo. This will most likely help other people who have trouble putting faces to names. All of your edit ideas are good, as the article as a whole feels like it's lacking information as of now. I think your edit really covers all the bases on what needs to be done about this article, as the main issue is how barren it is. I believe the only issue with your edits may be finding reputable sources about his early life, as many times this information is not made public. PCBWV (talk) 01:10, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

@FWZ BHR: Hi Fawaz, Dr. Sarraf here. I agree with Patrick about adding a photograph. In terms of finding sources, you might check out some of the newspaper databases from the library. For instance, https://databases.lib.wvu.edu/connect/1238532704 KjessJKT (talk) 15:52, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
