Welcome!

Hello, Exmuslim, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

It is probably a bad sign that your first action on wikipedia is a revert war. Please read wikipedia policy in an effort to help guide your contributions. gren 18:22, 20 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hi Exmuslim, I've just had to lock the Islam page because of revert warring, in part by you. While it's important that the article contain credible criticism, this has to be done within our policies. Comments like: "NPOV on Islam!! LOL! Second bombing in London and Jihad under Islam at Wickipedia: 'Striving to seek God's approval (Jihad)' Gimme a break!" and edit summaries like: "Muhammad was a pedophile and that is a fact not a hate speech. Learn to face the truth" aren't helpful. If you write in a disinterested, encyclopedic style using credible, and preferably scholarly, sources, you'll find your edits will probably stick, but if you continue revert-warring and making no other useful edits, you're likely to be blocked for disruption. Try to compromise. Cheers, SlimVirgin (talk) 23:52, July 23, 2005 (UTC)

This is also to warn you that if you violate 3RR, you may be blocked from editing without further warning, and any sockpuppets that appear to have been created to get round 3RR will be blocked indefinitely. SlimVirgin (talk) 00:01, July 24, 2005 (UTC)

Existentializer edit

Just for your information: [1] Existentializer banned for "suspicion" based on someone's vandalizing his user page. This is way out of line. Ni-ju-Ichi 05:17, 31 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

3RR edit

Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. Thank you. --Ryan Delaney talk 20:40, 25 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future. --Ryan Delaney talk 21:47, 25 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

  • Exmuslim, I think this sysop is a party in the content dispute and abuses his administrative powers to resolve the conflict in his favour. Some corrective action might improve Wikipedia. What do you think? --Germen (Talk | Contribs  ) 11:39, 26 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
