Not sure I am using this talk page as I should, but the Edit and "edit source" new templates are confusing and in adding a section tag on an article I somehow removed all the section headers. They appear in "edit" mode and the coding is all correct, but on the actual page itself, it looks like one huge paragraph. What did I do?Excellerate (talk) 04:37, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
- Welcome to Wikipedia! I looked at the page J. Michael Houston and saw that you deleted a closing for the nowiki tag. These tags, like HTML, require an opening and closing tag. For example: <nowiki> and </nowiki>. By accidently deleting the tag, the page did not show the markup headings correctly.
- For more information, see the Nowiki section in the Wiki Markup help page. I have removed the nowiki tage in the page above, and it should appear normal again. —Christopher (talk) 08:31, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
