July 2016 edit

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Afrikaans folklore, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 08:02, 31 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Melcous

Thank you for your comment. I am a new contributor and am still learning a lot. Mostly I contribute in Afrikaans and have not experienced the same type of problem.
I realise that my problem is that I did not give a valid reason for the removal.
I hope it is in order that I give my reason here.
I understood that I had to change the reflective part of the article and I have done it. (1) I have changed it so that it is more statements than my arguments. (2) I have also linked the article to other Wikipedia articles with similar content. (3) I have even linked another article "Folklore" to my article.
Now I would like to know what else can be done.
I am learning a lot, especially when I get feedback like yours. Thank you for that.
Looking forward to hear some constructive feedback again.
