Vandalism on Cochin Shipyard page

edit

Greetings. You have been warned of WP:VAN in the page Cochin Shipyard Limited. The WP:CS for the claim provided are from the official government websites from Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and the Department of Public Enterprises, Govt of India. Random website links does not supersede official government claims. WP:EW is not encouraged and any claim otherwise should be discussed in the talk page of the article before changing. Your recent editing history at Cochin Shipyard shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

I am the one who is showing real figures from official webistes. cochin shipyard got 110,000 DWt facility according to official website. Pipavav got 400,000 DWt facility according to official webiste. The other user Shady59 is trying to show fake figures. These are the official original webistes of both. Please check and verify. https://cochinshipyard.in/sb-facility https://www.skilgroup.co.in/shipyard-offshore-engineering-facilities. Wikiperdia shoudl show truth not some fake content. Pipavav is easily Indian largest shipyard because it got 400000 DWt facility cochin only got 110000 DWT facility. I kindly request you to check this. If you want I can give you more proof. I have no opinion one way or the other. The place to discuss it with the other user involved and anyone else is the article talk page at Talk:Cochin Shipyard. GedUK  15:18, 5 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Sorry to bother you. I just want to say that I want to show the truth. Its hurts to see wrong content perpetuated through wiki. Thats why wiki lost its credibility. The other user know the truth but wants to show wrong content because that person is from cochin. He wants to boast even though he knows the truth. You can see that in that users history. I told him several times that the official webiste of both shows the truth. But that person wants purposefully wants to show wrong content. He is showing some old articles. Pipavav is a new port and it is easily the biggest in India. Lots of old articles need an update. I think official webiste can be taken as the best proof rather than any other article. Even all articles shows that cochin only got 110,000 DWT and piapvav got 400,000 DWT. 400,000 is certainly far bigger than 110,000. Again Thank you very much for interfering in here.
