Sonic Cruiser Model Number edit

According to the Boeing Sonic Cruiser article, it is. However, I'm not finding anything conclusive on the web just yet. I'll keep checking around. McNeight 03:32, 4 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Searching off and on, with various sources, I haven't found any definitive reference to the Sonic Cruiser as the Model 2717 except on Wikipedia. In fact, I haven't found any model number for the Sonic Cruiser. Everything I've found so far just refers to it as the Sonic Cruiser. If I find anything else, I'll let you know. Airtemp template question edit

Out of curiosity, why are you differentiating between jets and props for cruise speed, climb rate, and service ceiling parameters?

Any objections if I try to streamline the whole thing into a single template? - Emt147 Burninate! 04:07, 17 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • FYI, I updated the airtemp-switch-no and airtemp-switch-yes templates with the new code. - Emt147 Burninate! 06:13, 17 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Variable incidence edit

I'd write it into the variable geometry wing article. It's really the same concept in a different axis - Emt147 Burninate! 01:49, 18 January 2006 (UTC).Reply

Picture of the Day edit

POTD

Hi Eric,

Just to let you know that your photo Image:Airport traffic pattern.jpg is due to make an appearance as Picture of the Day tomorrow. As this will be a weekend, it should also appear on the Main Page. If you get a chance, you can check and improve the caption at Wikipedia:Picture of the day/January 21, 2006. -- Solipsist 08:33, 20 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Congrats, Ericg! Guapovia 10:36, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Pictures edit

After seeing your featured image on the Main Page today, I also noticed Image:Go-around.png while browsing through articles; another fantastic picture. Keep up the great work! —Cleared as filed. 22:42, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Categorisation by manufacturer edit

You may not get this message, but 'twon't hurt to try. I think we misunderstood each other with regards to my categorisation proposal. Please see my attempt at clarification at WT:Air. Cheers, Ingoolemo talk 18:05, 21 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Infoboxes edit

I'll forgive you if you don't respond to this. Didn't you design a number of potential aircraft infoboxes some time ago? I'd be interested in looking them over. I tried to find them at Special:Allpages, but I didn't succeed. Good luck with at the University, Ingoolemo talk 04:53, 27 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

WP:Air specs edit

Saw your comment on Ingoolemo's user page. Does that mean you are opposed to migrating all aircraft pages to the specs template?

I agree, Wikipedia is like trying to herd cats. :\ - Emt147 Burninate! 23:24, 27 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Gotcha. I think that issue was dropped and forgotten. I tried to request the <calc> extension for Wikipedia to do on-the-fly unit conversions and was told off (rudely) with no good explanation. As you probably saw on WP:Air talk page, I'm gearing up for an AWB-assisted mass conversion to the template. I'll post the find/replace file and task list after I do a trial run around March 1. - Emt147 Burninate! 00:50, 28 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Ceejayoz#External_links_in_signatures where the matter has been discussed. — Feb. 28, '06 [06:50] <freakofnurxture|talk>

Granted, it would be nice if you were contacted first, but that's just unrealistic with the number of links that needed to be removed. No text of any message in your archive was changed. Please revert back. Zocky | picture popups 07:09, 28 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
