Proposed deletion of Indoor Football Association

edit

The article Indoor Football Association has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:03, 6 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Removing Notices/Templates

edit

Please do not remove all templates from a page as you did in Kartelon Tanga. There were no categories and it was quite short so please also leave the expanding template on the page. Thank you. Joe Gazz84 (user)(talk)(contribs) 00:50, 7 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Its perfectly fine! Don't worry about it, we all make mistakes. Just so you know when someone posts something on your talk page you reply on your own talk page. You then post the tamplate {{tb|Username}} (without spaces between {{}}) on the other persons talk page. Thank you, if you have any more questions please feel free to ask me. Proposed deletion of Kartelon Tanga

edit

The article Kartelon Tanga has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article is a probable hoax. All three references provided are broken links, there is no evidence that he has played for Selangor (no mention of him whatsoever on the club website, a site search returns zero hits and he's not listed on their 2009 squad), and a Google search only brings up this page and rumours on forums, presumably taken in by what's written on this page (http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&client=opera&hs=TsD&rls=en&q=%22Kartelon+Tanga%22&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=).

Bettia (talk) 15:09, 8 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Indoor Football Association

edit

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Indoor Football Association, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
