Unfortunately, people often throw in a one-sentence article and do no more, so new articles that do not make clear why their subject is significant or important may be speedily deleted if after ten minutes or so it seems that no more is forthcoming. If you want to take time about making an article, the best way is to click on Help:Userspace draft and fill in the title: that will make a draft page where you can take your time about developing the article.

I have "userfied" your article into a draft page like that for you at User:Emma Baughurst/Alex Foster (rugby league) where you can work on it. Read WP:Your first article for advice, and take particular note of the need for references. The Wikipedia:Verifiability policy is that: "any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source."

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Alex Foster (rugby league), from its old location at User:Emma Baughurst/Alex Foster (rugby league). This is because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. North America1000 08:20, 29 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
